    AI Enablement by Industry

Custom AI agents, automations and team training shaped to how your industry actually runs, from the promo order lifecycle to restaurant back offices to franchise systems.

Why industry context matters in AI enablement

Industry-specific AI consulting starts from the work, not the tool. The same model can draft a quote, answer a franchisee or reconcile an invoice. What makes it useful is knowing what a good quote looks like in your trade, which system holds the truth, and what your customers expect to hear. Operator Intelligence looks at three things in every vertical.

    ### Workflows Every industry has a spine. In promotional products it's the order lifecycle from brief to reorder. In restaurants it's labor, food cost and guest experience across locations. In franchising it's the line between franchisor and franchisee. AI that ignores the spine automates the wrong steps.

    ### Systems Distributors live in ESP+, SAGE, commonsku or Syncore. Restaurant groups run on POS, scheduling and accounting platforms. DTC brands run on Shopify, Klaviyo and Meta. We map which system is the record for each step and build agents that work across those systems instead of replacing them.

    ### Language Industry vocabulary matters to people and to models. A virtual sample, an 86'd menu item and an FDD mean little to a general-purpose assistant. Instructions, knowledge and examples written in your terms are what turn a generic chatbot into a tool your team relies on.

The method behind every industry page is the same. Read how it works on our AI enablement page.

More industries we build and train for

Operator Intelligence also works with teams beyond promotional products, restaurants and franchises. The method is the same everywhere: learn the workflow, pilot one improvement, prove the numbers, then scale.

    • [B2B sales organizations](/industries/b2b-sales): agents for account research, CRM hygiene, quoting and follow-up so reps spend more time selling, plus AI training for sales teams.
    • [Marketing agencies](/industries/marketing-agencies): reporting, QA, scoping and status-update workflows that protect margin, plus agency-wide AI fluency.
    • [Coaching and online communities](/industries/coaching-communities): intake, onboarding, session prep and member retention workflows for coaches and community owners.
    • [Law firms](/industries/law-firms): carefully supervised AI for intake, drafting support and internal knowledge, with policy and training in place first.

How industry depth shows up in our team

Operator Intelligence was founded in 2026 by two operators. Luke Freeman has 20+ years in promotional products distribution and sales, is founder and CEO of the distributor Wizard Creations, and has $500M+ in career sales. Chad Westleigh has nearly 20 years in digital strategy, including 15+ years in DTC jewelry ecommerce and an early role at Alex and Ani during its growth from about $4.5M to $200M+ in revenue.

That background is why our promotional products and DTC jewelry pages go deepest. For newer verticals such as restaurants and franchising, we say plainly where we have client proof and where we offer a measured pilot instead.

How an industry AI engagement works

Every Operator Intelligence engagement follows the same four phases, whatever the industry.

    1. Discovery

A two-week AI readiness assessment: interviews, a systems inventory and a close look at where hours and margin go in your business.

    2. Opportunity Mapping

A ranked map of workflows by impact and effort, with the one we would pilot first and how we would measure it.

    3. Quick-Win Pilot

One workflow built and running in four to six weeks, with people approving outputs and a baseline to measure against.

    4. Scale and optional support

Proven workflows roll out across teams or locations with training and documentation. Larger programs run three to six months.

    Frequently asked questions

Do you only work with the industries listed here?

No. The industry pages cover verticals where we have built detailed playbooks, and we also work with B2B sales organizations, marketing agencies, coaching businesses, online communities and law firms. Fit matters more than vertical: lean, high-performing teams, typically $1M–$10M in annual revenue, plus select Fortune 1000 teams.

Do you have case studies in my industry?

Our published cases are in DTC jewelry (&LIVY), direct mail (Mail New England), B2B lead generation (Wizard Leads, a Wizard-affiliated company) and DTC luggage (ROAM Luggage), and 2iC results, from Wizard Creations, co-founder Luke Freeman's distributorship, are public for promotional products. We don't have restaurant or franchise client cases yet; in those industries we offer a scoped pilot with a baseline measured before we build.

Why does industry experience matter if the AI tools are the same?

Because the hard part isn't the model. It's knowing which steps to automate, which system holds the truth and where a person must stay in the loop. Industry context shortens discovery and keeps us from building agents for work that doesn't move your numbers.

What does industry-specific AI consulting cost?

We don't publish prices because scope varies by industry and workflow. Cost is driven by the number of workflows or agents, the systems involved, data quality, how autonomous the agents are and how many people need training. See how we price or request a scoped proposal.

Can you train our team as well as build agents?

Yes. AI Training & Fluency is one of our three offerings, and every training engagement ends with configured AI instances, such as Claude Projects or reusable skills for ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, running in your team's own accounts and tuned to your industry's tasks.

    Who owns what you build?

You do. We build in your accounts wherever possible, document each workflow and hand over the configuration, so your team keeps running it whether or not you retain us for ongoing support.
